Red-Eyed Vireo
102344

Found in forests across much of the United States and Canada, the Red-eyed Vireo is often seen alone or in pairs.  Its constant singing has given it the nickname of "preacher."  Insects make up the bulk of its diet, and caterpillars are a favorite.  It builds a neat, delicate nest suspended between the forks of tree branches using grasses, spider silk and moss.
